ACR350 – New Powerful DC/DC Converter for Industrial, Transportation and Railway Applications
The brand new ACR350 series with an output power of 350 watts. This DC/DC converter for chassis mounting is shock and vibration resistant (EN61373) and has an extended temperature range between –40 and +85°C. This makes it suitable for rough and powerful application in industry, railway and transportation systems.
Both versions of the ACR350 are available with a very wide input from 14,4 to 67,2 and 43 to 154 VDC according EN50155 (nom. 24 to 48 and 72 to 110V) and have an output voltage of 24 V. In spite of the very wide input range with booster technology, the ACR350 have a high efficiency of up to 94%.
Other input or output voltages are possible on request.
The active clamping topology helps to meet the EMC requirements: The converter reach conducted emission Class B and radiated emission according to EN 55011 Class A and complies with the railway specific criteria of surge, burst and ESD without additional components. Standard features are protection against over current, over temperature and reverse polarity as well as inrush current limiting, enable, thermal warning and power good. Easy installation because of the compact design (182 x 105 x 50 mm) and new cage clamp connectors.

HFBC60-W/Ks - Ultra Wide Input Voltage 60W Railway DC/DC Converter
The brand new HFBC60-W/Ks for wall mounting has an ultra-wide input voltage range between 14,4 and 154VDC with a power of 60 Watt. So one single converter suits for all international on-board power supply voltages for rail vehicles (24V, 36V, 72V and 110V) including the tolerance range of +/- 40% required according to EN 50155. This ultra-wide voltage range is an optimum solution for companies acting Europe-wide offering them the chance to qualify components cost-efficiently with one single converter.
With regard to temperature, shock, vibration and the railway-specific EMC criteria according to EN 50121-3-2, as well as surge, burst and ESD strict compliance with EN 50155 is provided without additional components. Further, the converter has an integrated power failure bridge of 10 ms (class S2), which makes the compact converter (113 x 46 x 35mm) really unique. Due to the combination of booster and active clamp in the optimized operating point a high degree of efficiency is reached (ca. 91%).
Standard features are inrush current limitation as well as excess voltage and excess temperature protection, in addition, the converter is open-circuit stable and continuously short-circuit proof. The modules suit for parallel connection and the output voltage can be trimmed. Beside the 12V type, 5V and 24V versions will be available soon. Other outputs will be available on request.

VAH110 Digital Battery Volts/Amps/Amp-Hour Monitor
The VAH110 Digital Battery Monitor provides accurate digital instrumentation. For banks of batteries between 9.50 and 33.00 Volts. The VAH110 displays battery voltage for up to three banks and charging or discharge current and tells you how much battery capacity has been consumed and how much is remaining in your battery bank. It keeps track of all current entering and leaving the battery and applies the appropriate Peukert's and charge efficiency factors four times per second. You can set Low and High voltage alarms for each battery bank independently and a Low Amp-Hours Remaining alarm for your main house bank. When activated, the built-in 85 dB alarm will sound and the display will flash. Five levels of
backlighting can be selected and all set-up, calibration constants and alarm values are saved to non-volatile memory. The VAH110 comes complete with a calibrated 450 Amp shunt to measure current. Distribution Panels with Remote Monitoring and Control
Have you ever had to travel to site for an outage just to find that all you need to do was to reset the equipment? If so then you need our new range of distribution panels with remote monitoring and control. Once installed and connected to your network you can switch loads on and off from the comfort of your desk or even your favourite cafe.
The DISTRIBUTION SERIES fuse-protected DC load distribution panels allow you to connect multiple DC loads to a single power source, thereby providing a flexible, cost effective approach to site DC power design. The 1RU 19-inch rackmount
design saves valuable space, and the fuses are mounted on the front for easy replacement. Twelve output circuits allow you to expand your system as your needs grow, without giving up more valuable rack space.
From the Standard model for applications where no remote monitoring or control is required, to Intelligent and Broadband models that are I.P. enabled for remote monitoring and power control, the Distribution Series has a model that will meet your requirements for 12, 24, or 48VDC applications.
Ease of Installation and Use
Fuses are mounted on the front to facilitate easy replacement. Alarm LED indicators and Form C alarm contacts are provided on all models to assist with troubleshooting and fault detection. Heavy duty stud connectors are provided for the main DC inputs, and space saving terminal blocks are used for the outputs. The I.P. enabled models have an intuitive, easy to use Graphical User Interface that can be accessed from a standard web browser.
Lowest Cost of Ownership - Reliabilty and Decreased Site Maintenance Costs
The convection cooled design means there are no moving parts to fail. Intelligent and Broadband models are I.P. enabled for remote monitoring, and the Remote Power Control models allow remote shutdown or power cycling of individual outputs. Firmware can be updated remotely over the web.
Performance and Flexibility
All models feature a continuous current rating of 150 amps to allow a large number of DC devices to be connected to a single panel. The Standard and Intelligent models utilise nine standard ATO type fuses rated at up to 25A each, plus three Maxi fuses with 40A ratings, allowing you to mix the size and type of devices you can connect to these 12 or 24VDC models. Broadband models feature 12 GMT fuses rated at 15A each.
Space Saving Design
The 1RU 19-inch standard rack mounting with handles saves valuable rack space. Twelve individual DC output circuits and the 150 amp continuous current rating help reduce the need for multiple panels. Input and output cables do not require extra room above or below the panel chassis.
Remote Monitoring
The Intelligent and Broadband models are I.P. enabled, and utilise a built-in Ethernet connector and integrated web server to allow users to remotely monitor load conditions at the panel. This can provide an indication of a problem with the DC power service, or with an individual device such as a radio, repeater, or RF amplifier that is connected to the panel. These models will also send text or email alerts to indicate when a fault status is triggered. Up to
30 hours of data logging is provided.
Remote Power Control
The Remote Power Control models allow the individual DC outputs to be turned on and off remotely using the TCP/IP connection. This allows connected devices to be turned on and off or power cycled, potentially averting the need for an on-site service visit. The power cycling feature allows outputs to restart automatically, allowing device such as LAN links to be power cycled without risk of losing communications to the panel. Automatic load shedding is provided with user definable settings, allowing non-critical loads to be shut down in order to prolong power to critical loads.

Isolated Series 2 DC/DC Converters
ISOLATED SERIES 2 converters can operate from a negative or positive ground electrical system, and are ideal for applications where complete isolation is necessary between primary and secondary circuits, as well as from the chassis.
Whether for a vehicle, off-grid power system, or utility substation, Isolated Series 2 will convert your DC voltage to meet your need.
Performance and Flexibility
Models are available from 120 watts to 420 watts, in step up and step down models, to match your needs. Input voltages range from 10 to 160VDC, with outputs in 12, 24 and 48VDC to cover virtually every application requirement. Isolated Series 2 converters can be mounted in a standard 19 inch equipment rack
Reliability and Extreme Environments
Minimum internal wiring and conformal coating of the electronics protects these converters from life-shortening vibration and moisture making the Isolated Series 2 range of DC/DC converters suitable for the most extreme conditions. Reliability is achieved through careful design that virtually eliminates internal wiring and connections that can fail. Wide input voltage ranges are less susceptible to voltage spikes and drops. Every unit is extensively tested before it leaves the factory.
Efficiency
A high-efficiency design means less energy is lost in the conversion process. A contact terminal is provided that allows the converter to be turned off and on by the main circuit, saving energy and avoiding standby drain on the battery.
